Easy open, fairly easy close automatic umbrella. It's sturdy and compact. Excellent feature is the view - it's always a nice day under this umbrella!Humor and surprise are two of the designer Tibor Kalman's hallmarks, as witnessed by this view of a blue sky on a most probably gray day. MoMA's witty umbrella with an eternally cheerful sky is known and enjoyed throughout the world. Designed by EFM for the Museum with the cloud design by Mr. Kalman, the collapsible umbrella has an automatic open-close mechanism. Made for MoMA with nylon exterior and lining.

J. Webb: Happy with PurchaseI really like this umbrella. It folds down to a nice compact size. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a snap closure. Instead, it has a VELCRO closure. Not a deal-breaker, but I would have preferred a snap. The sky picture from underneath is just as pictured. Nice and non-flashy from the outside (black) and a little happy from underneath.
