My granddaughter loves this umbrella. I like the fact that it has UV protection.

This is a simple umbrella with a classic look. It has a quality build that's likely to last a long time. However, it's also a little bulky, with a wooden, non-collapsible handle, and it's difficult to stand it, even in a corner. I would prefer an umbrella that retained the classic look while being more compact and easy to put down when there's no umbrella stand in sight.

You might wonder how big an umbrella you need. 48" is probably a little more than you need as an individual, and a little too small to cover two people.

The umbrella did not turn inside out during windy rains. I was protected wearing nicer clothes while walking across campus at work and when walking the neighborhood for excercise. The handle on the 48" model was easy to grip and necessary when gusty. I intend to buy the next larger size for more coverage the next time. If the umbrella holds up through the rainy season, I would definitely rate it 5 stars. I've owned it for a month.

I have not had any really fierce winds to try out my new GustBuster. It worked well in mild winds. My problem with the 48-inch model is that it's not large enough to keep my legs dry even with slight winds. I should have bought the larger model.

The wood handle looks nice at first but it's already showing signs of wear. The umbrella's automatic opening feature works, but not perfectly. It usually pops up another notch a few minutes after the first opening.

Three broken struts in a couple of years. I fixed the first couple with pliars and a piece of a paper clip. Then it went into the trash. The design is great...makes a lot of sense, but the quality of the materials they use are the weak link. They sell these because the design really makes sense, but I was extremely disappointed with the longevity of it, especially considering the price.

To make a long story short, the FIRST time I used this umbrella, the stem & one of the spindles holding up the umbrella cracked and broke in a 30 mph wind gust in driving rain. I was not pleased.

This is a great size of umbrella. I bought one from my boss who travels alot. She said she loved the way it fits in her laptop bag without take up too much room (alot of travel umbrellas are too chuncky). She showed it to her elderly mother, who loved it so much that she gave me the money to buy her one also (bought at samsonite outlet). It slides in a purse easily too. I think I may need to buy one for myself. :-)

I bought 2 of these umbrellas for both my daughters in college and they both love them. They especially like the "bubble" since the wind can't catch it, their faces are covered from the rain and most important, they can see where they're going since it's clear. These are great!

I love this umbrella! It's super cute and stylish! The reason I gave it a 4 rating is due to a little mis-hap I had the second time I used it. A pretty violent gust of wind caught it & ripped all of the metal parts that hold it's shape out. However, this umbrella does have a LIFE TIME WARRANTY & the kind folks at Luggage Point immeditally sent me replacement. Overall the umbrella is great & Luggage Point is even better!

WOW! This umbrella is stunning in person. I love the color, it's quite vibrant. I also love that with the touch of a button the umbrella pops open and with the same button it closes the umbrella as well. Highly recommend this product. It's so pretty, the shape of the umbrella has scalloped edges that sort of flutter like a flower petal. And it closes into a nice compact size.

I really like this umbrella. It folds down to a nice compact size. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a snap closure. Instead, it has a VELCRO closure. Not a deal-breaker, but I would have preferred a snap. The sky picture from underneath is just as pictured. Nice and non-flashy from the outside (black) and a little happy from underneath.

This Micro Umbrella by Totes is compact for putting in your backpack or purse. When deployed, it is as big as a full-sized umbrella. I've had my Totes Micro Umbrella for a few years and it's held up to strong winds and heavy rain. It may not be the the spring-loaded kind that opens up automatically with the press of a button, but it folds up very compact (approximately 8-3/4" in length and 5-1/2" in diameter). The craftsmanship is superb, from the stitching on the velcro strap and the canopy, to the skeletal frame and the telescoping handle - the quality is simply top-notch. The Micro Umbrella is, in sum, practical, well-made, durable, and *compact*. I'm extremely pleased with it. Definitely recommended!

My son loves the color and overall it does what it's supposed to but it seems really hard for him to operate and just a little flimsy.

Overall not disappointed, but not thrilled either.
